Installing Outdoor Dog Bed with Boxes
Outdoor dog bed – Many people have boxes cluttering their closets and other storage areas. An untold number of these cases end up in landfills each year. Many are also taken to recycling centers, which is preferable, but the recovery process is still using a lot of energy. Reuse cartons already is the most ideal solution. If you are a pet owner wondering what to do with your own cartons, is pretty simple answer – turn a cardboard box into a comfy outdoor dog bed for your furry friend.
Use a cardboard box big enough for your pet to fit comfortably. Large breeds need very large boxes, but smaller boxes are perfect for toy dogs and cats. Select a box that does not have scratches, moisture, stains and other damage. Cutting an opening in one side of the box; this will allow your pet to climb in and out without skipping side of the box. Make a block U-shaped opening on one of the longer sides of the box with a paper knife. Use the knife to also carve a decorative trim along the edges of the box, if you want.
Place a pad in the bottom of the outdoor dog bed for additional pillow. Cover the pillow in a terrycloth towel and stop the edges all around. The terry cloth will remove moisture that drool, while absorbing any accidents.
