Making Dog Stair Ramp
Dog stair ramp – Climbing and repetitive jumping is difficult on the hips and joints of a dog. Many dogs require a ramp or steps to climb onto a platform. The construction of portable steps allows the use of them in the bed, car and anywhere that the dog requires assistance. Portable steps are available through many pet stores, but building the steps is relatively easy and the materials are inexpensive. You will need to use basic tools and materials available through your lumber or local hardware.
Dog stair ramp, cut four sections of 30-inch insulation board foam with a knife. Then cut two sections 15 inches long and set them aside. Cards come in a standard width of 2 feet. Do not change the width. Place one of the 30-inch foam plates on the floor. Use a soft brush to apply a thin layer of glue to the top of the board. Place a second matching card at the top of the queue. Align surfaces and apply gentle pressure to adjust glue. Wait five minutes for the glue to dry. Repeat until all 30-inch plates are stacked and pasted.
Dog stair ramp, place one of the 15-inch plates on the top of the battery. Align the edges on one side to cover half the surface. Use a marker to draw the border. Remove the gasket and apply a thin layer of glue to the inner area of the mark. Place the gasket on the top of the glue, align the edges and wait five minutes for the glue to dry.
